Amma

In some residential colonies like the one I stay in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, I’ve seen part time househelps ride a cycle to work while draped in a saree. Through the heat, through cold, through the pandemic, through all odds to earn a livelihood. I find this very courageous and inspiring.

The Amma Series combine my love for photography and printmaking.
