My makeshift linocut workshop

During the first lockdown in 2020, I found a few linoleum blocks and 2 rubber blocks, while rummaging through my studio for art supplies. It reminded me of my college days and I decided to create lino art for a change.

After a fortnight of drawing and meticulous cutting through the blocks I was ready to print.

When the lockdown relaxed I arranged for glass, kerosene oil and inks and began printing with my rollers and paper… via a small makeshift workshop on my dining table!
The entire process was tiring yet exciting. I thoroughly enjoyed myself exploring this medium.
